Leadership Forged Through Adversity
A story about resilience, and what it teaches us about leading others.
Gabe Murfitt has spent his life proving that limitations don’t get the final word. Living with a physical disability, he’s faced obstacles most people never have to think twice about. Along the way, he’s learned something about resilience, perspective, and leadership that goes far beyond his own story.
His keynote for organizations is honest and personal. It’s built around the CLEAR framework: Courage, Leadership, Endurance, Attitude, Respect. These are principles Gabe earned through lived experience, not a textbook.
The keynote gives audiences a way to reflect on:
- A renewed sense of what real resilience looks like
- A simple, memorable framework for leading through hard things
- The effects their choices have on the people around them
Gabe’s story has been featured on Oprah, Good Morning America, NBC, and Fox. He’s spent years speaking to students across the country, and now he’s bringing that same honest, human message to the teams and leaders shaping what comes next.
CLEAR for Teams, Leaders and Conference Audiences
You don’t control everything that happens. But your choices still matter, and they rarely affect only you. CLEAR helps you decide what to do next.
Courage means taking a worthwhile next step when the outcome is uncertain. Leadership asks how your influence affects others. Endurance means continuing while staying willing to adapt. Attitude means acknowledging the situation honestly and choosing your response. Respect means treating people with dignity.
Gabe speaks for organizations, associations, conferences, educators and leadership groups. His personal story opens a conversation about resilience, inclusion and the responsibility that comes with influence.
Plan a Keynote That Fits Your Event
Share your audience, goals, location and preferred date when you inquire. Discuss the keynote length, event format, accessibility and opportunities to connect the message with the challenges your group is facing.
